Welcome to Hull!
Founded in 1927, the University of Hull is one of the oldest and most respected universities in the UK, known for providing a first-class education and rewarding life experience to students from all over the world.
Our leafy, red-brick campus is a beautiful place to study, and our investment in top quality student facilities continues apace.
We’ve just completed a £28-million refurbishment of the Brynmor Jones Library, making it one of the best in the country. We’re spending a further £70 million on a world-class performance and concert venue, and a revolutionary ‘health hub’ for medical training, plus we’re creating new on-campus apartments for 560 students.
Students starting this September will also have a brand new Students' Union to enjoy following an impressive summer refit.
Outside the labs and lecture theatres, there’s plenty of space to unwind – from our bars, coffee shops, gardens and plazas to the award-winning on-campus nightclub, Asylum, which is home to live music and legendary events. There are also more than 150 societies, sports teams and leagues to join at the University.
